pathTrack is modular

The main components of a typical tracking system are:

  • data acquisition directly from instruments or manually
  • data transmission via secure internet, wireless mobile connection (SSL) or (automated scanned) letters
  • data storage and backup on a central server
  • web interface for follow-up sites
  • automated status generation for follow-up and statistics
  • statistics and performance data provided by the tracking center for the participating hospitals
  • centralized administration of distributed instruments - keep the same screening protocoll going without the need to install user lists, comment lists or firmware manuall on site. It can be done remotely!
  • ... our tracking system is a modular approach! We provide modules from 'central data collection only' until 'full featured tracking and statistics for different participants' - always with respect to the data security requested.

In 2010, PATH introduced successfully the wireless and out of the box data transfer for different newborn screening instruments EchoScreen (Natus) and AccuScreen (Madsen). Together with the tracking center in Münster, the solution is running efficiently and saving both, cost and time for the tracking center. Bidirectional data upload from a central tracking center to the distributed instruments in the different sites is a unique feature to this solution. Automated benchmarking and statistics for the participating hospitals is also possible - out of the box! Please refer to our partner's homepage for further information on statistics (User: demo, Password: demo) and please contact us, if you are interested in this technology. We are open to adapt for your screening device!
