Our Latin America team joined around 300 audiology professionals at the ASOAUDIO Congress 2026.
Together with our local distributor SILVHER, we had the opportunity to present our diagnostic solutions and connect with hearing care professionals and clinical experts. The congress provided a valuable platform for exchanging ideas and discussing current developments in hearing screening and advanced diagnostics.
QSCREEN and Newborn Hearing Screening
Newborn hearing screening was one of the key topics at the ASOAUDIO Congress. We were especially pleased to see QSCREEN featured in the scientific exchange surrounding the standardization of newborn hearing screening in Colombia.
Audiologist Irma Carvajalino is currently conducting a QSCREEN standardization study, providing valuable insights into its application in the Colombian clinical environment.
Exploring Advanced Diagnostics with SENTIERO ADVANCED
Another highlight was our exchange with MED-EL on advanced electrophysiological applications.
Following our discussions at ASOAUDIO, a joint workshop is planned for the Peruvian ENT Congress in October 2026. During the workshop, we will demonstrate SENTIERO ADVANCED and its integration with eSRT and eABR for MED-EL devices.
Connecting with Clinical Experts
ASOAUDIO also gave us the opportunity to exchange ideas with leading experts, including Dr. Darío Yacovino, Dr. Carlos Guajardo, Aud. Irma Carvajalino, and Aud. Clemencia Barón.
We discussed clinical evaluation of our diagnostic solutions as well as opportunities for future research collaboration.
