SENTIERO // TYMP DIAGNOSTIC

Middle ear and cochlear diagnostics, without switching devices.

SENTIERO TYMP DIAGNOSTIC brings Class 1 tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, eustachian tube function testing and multi-frequency measurement together with OAE and full diagnostic audiometry in a single desktop unit. Four probe-tone frequencies record at once, so a complete middle-ear picture appears from one button press rather than several separate passes. Add binaural OAE testing and an automated cochlear audiogram, and the same device covers the outer, middle, and inner ear in one sitting.

Overview

A single reading tells you more than a single frequency ever could.

Standard tympanometry relies on one probe tone, usually 226 Hz, which works well for most adults but can miss what’s happening in a younger or more complex ear. SENTIERO TYMP DIAGNOSTIC records at 226 Hz, 678 Hz, 800 Hz and 1000 Hz simultaneously, giving clinicians four traces from one measurement instead of forcing a choice between speed and depth.

Reflex testing goes with it in the same sequence – ipsilateral and contralateral, with an eSRT trigger option for teams working with cochlear implant candidates. Everything renders as a 3D graph on-screen automatically, so nothing needs to be exported elsewhere for a clinician to read the result.

The same unit extends into OAE and audiometry when a case calls for it. Two probes test both ears for DPOAE or TEOAE at the same time, frequency-modulated stimulation (FMDPOAE ®) keeps results steady even where a standard DPOAE trace would show gaps, and an optional threshold mode turns those OAE responses into an estimated cochlear audiogram – all without moving the patient to another machine.

Features

One reading, four frequencies, a complete picture.

Multi-frequency tympanometry usually means trading speed for detail. SENTIERO TYMP DIAGNOSTIC records four probe tones in a single pass, so the extra insight doesn’t cost extra time-the result renders immediately as a 3D graph, ready to discuss with a patient or colleague on the spot.

  • Simultaneous 226 Hz, 678 Hz, 800 Hz & 1000 Hz recording
  • Ipsi & contralateral reflex, with eSRT for implant candidates
  • Automatic tympanometry-plus-reflex test sequence
✓ Tympanometry with Class 1 and 2
◌ Compact and handheld design
★ NOAH compatible

OAE results that stay readable, even at the frequencies that usually trip up a trace.

Standard DPOAE traces sometimes show blank spots at unpredictable frequencies – a limitation of the physics, not the patient’s hearing. SENTIERO TYMP DIAGNOSTIC’s frequency-modulated FMDPOAE® stimulus was built to close exactly those gaps, while dual probes test both ears in the same pass rather than one after the other.

  • Patented FMDPOAE® Stimulation
  • Binaural DPOAE & TEOAE Testing
